I. Basic Operation

All information within the vistrax system is centrally managed in several databases. The different applications (vistrax-Client, Web Client and vistrax Self Input) get access to the databases via a vistrax Server, which runs as a service. In addition, there is the vistrax Watchdog, which monitors the server. Once you have opened vistrax Server Configuration, you will enter the main view. The main view is divided into two areas: “Services” and “User interface”.

In the “Services” area, the current status of the vistrax Server and the vistrax Watchdog is displayed and can be changed. The services can be registered, deleted, started or stopped using the corresponding buttons. When registering the services, they are created based on the data stored in the server settings.

In the “User Interface” area, user interface settings can be made for the entire vistrax system. The language and color scheme can be set here.
