To do so, open the vistrax Kiosk configuration by selecting “Configuration…” from the context menu. To proceed with authentication, log in using your vistrax credentials (the user must have the permission to configure vistrax Kiosk). \\ The following options are available in the vistrax Kiosk configuration: ===== Settings ===== ==== Monitor ==== **Current:** Select the monitor on which the kiosk application message should currently be displayed. **Standard:** Select the monitor on which the kiosk application should be displayed as standard when vistrax Kiosk is started **Orientation:** This allows the projection area to be rotated in 90° steps. ==== Automatic Startup ==== This allows you to set whether the presentation should begin automatically when the program is started. You can also define whether vistrax Kisok should start automatically when Windows is started. ==== Use Interface==== Here you can adjust the language settings and reset notifications ==== Kiosk System Defaults ==== Specify which database language should be used. ===== Presentation===== ==== Design == vistrax Kiosk offers you one design template (so-called “Projectors”). For more information on the customization options, see the Properties section. ==== Properties ==== Here you can select the properties of the screen presentation, e.g. background, colors, fonts in your corporate design etc. \\ Explanations of the properties are displayed in a gray highlighted box under the settings. Explanations can also be displayed by clicking on the corresponding property. In addition, property groups (welcome message, corporate design, misc, language support, privacy policy) can be made visible or invisible by clicking as appropriate on the plus/minus button. === a) Welcoming === In the left column you can define factors including which visitor data and data about your company (i.e. logo, name, company website) should be displayed on the welcome message screen. The wording of the salutation and the announcement of the host apply for all visitors to be welcomed in a specific time period - this cannot be set individually. Wording examples:\\ - Greeting: “Welcome…”\\ - Naming Host: “…is happy to welcome…” **Be aware that the employee information is only displayed when in the field 'Naming Host' a corresponding text has been specified. ** **Be aware that photos or logos will only appear if they have previously been added to vistrax. As the image files in the background are synchronized with the database, a slight delay may occur when photos or logos are first displayed.** === b) Corporate Design === Here you have the option of modifying corporate design properties. === c) Appearance === ** Color selection for UI controls and text content** ** PDF settings: ** Allows you to freely customize the background color of stored PDF documents. === d) Visitor Settings === ** Virtual Keyboard Settings: ** Can be enabled or disabled as needed. ** Self-Registration: ** Allows visitors to enter their own information if no visit has yet been created in the system and no visit documents are available. ** Allow private visits: ** Allows visitors to register without having to specify a company. ** Signature Settings: ** * Automatic: SignPad is enabled by default for signing. * Alternatively: The signature can also be provided directly on the kiosk's touchscreen. === e) Misc === ** Service Phone Number: ** You can enter a phone number here that can be dialed directly from the kiosk in the event of technical problems (using CTI telephony). ** Info Button Visible: ** Enables or disables the display of an info button that can be used to access software information. ** Hompage Button Name: ** Allows you to optionally rename the homepage button if you want it to link to a specific landing page. === d) Language Support === Currently, the following languages are available: German, English, French, and Italian. These can be enabled or disabled as desired. === e) Privacy Policy === You can enable or disable the optional display of your legal terms and conditions as a PDF here. ==== Print Management ==== === Visitor Badge / Visitor Briefing === The following procedures apply to both visitor badge and visitor briefing. Here, select the printer type and the printer itself for the visitor documents. Selecting printer type and printer can be performed individually for badge and briefing. The settings undertaken here will act as presets for printing, but individual adjustments are always possible within each document's print input dialog. === Rasterizer === As an alternative to the rasterizer provided by the respective printer driver you can use a software rasterizer when printing. Select the option 'Software' if you detect problems with the print quality to activate the software rasterizer. Please note that this option results in a higher memory usage. ===== Barcode Scanner Integration ===== For a barcode scanner to be used in check-in/check-out procedures, it must first be integrated in vistrax. Here, the device status can help you determine whether the barcode scanner should be activated or deactivated. The device types and interfaces supported by vistrax are pre-defined. **Under “Mode” you can choose between:** * **Automatic check-in / check-out with or without beep:** \\ After barcode scanning, visitors are automatically checked in or out * **Manual check-in / check-out with or without beep:** \\ After barcode scanning is complete the registration or check-out input dialog for the corresponding visit is opened === Under “Acoustic Error Tone“ you can choose the tone played if an error occurred: === * Sequence of 3 short beeps * Long buzzing sound (available only for Magellan 1100i) **Currently only the Datalogic Magellan 1100i and Magellan 1500i barcode scanners are supported. However, these scanners only work if an initial setup has been made. Follow this step-by-step guide [[:en:v3:magellan1100i|Magellan 1100i initial setup]] or [[:en:v3:magellan1500i|Magellan 1500i initial setup]]. The support of further manufacturers and models will be extended in future software versions.** ===== Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) ===== vistrax Kiosk supports CTI / TAPI and offers you the option of starting a telephone call from the application. All TAPI-capable device drivers are supported. The “Prefix Number” determines a number which is added as a prefix to all calls (e.g. an outside line with “0“). If “CTI Telephoning” is activated, you can select valid telephone numbers with a double-click from within the application. ===== Image Acquisition===== vistrax Kiosk supports the direct acquisition of image data (i.e. company and mandator logos, visitor and employee pictures) ===== Caching ===== Here you can manage the path and size of the cache. The cache serves to accelerate media loading. As far as possible, these settings should only be changed if requested by vistrax support ===== Logging ===== Here you can manage the recording of application functions. Only change these settings if you are requested to do so by vistrax support ===== Server Settings ===== The Vistrax server and proxy server are changed here.\\ For further information see [[https://help.vistrax.com/en/v3.6/vistrax/verbindungseinstellungen#chapter_7vistrax_server_settings|Chapter 7 “Connection Settings”]] \\ \\ \\ \\ [[:en:v3.6:vistraxkiosk:einfuehrung|BACK]] [[:en:v3.6:vistraxkiosk:bedienung|NEXT]]
